Fees
How much does it cost to study at Te Kura?
Students enrolled full-time who meet the Ministry of Education’s enrolment criteria do not pay fees.
Young adults aged 16 to 19 years old and not attending another school do not pay fees. If the student is aged 20 and over in the year of study there is a fee of $110 per course.
Students who do not meet the Ministry of Education’s enrolment criteria pay fees. See our fee schedule. However, all students will be asked for a donation.
Do your courses qualify for student loans?
No.
Can I enrol as a fee-paying student and split the payment of my fees?
No, you must pay the full course fee at the time of enrolment.
I’ve enrolled as a fee-paying student. If I withdraw, can I get a refund?
Read the enrolment forms for fee-paying students for information on fees and our refund policy.
If I do not finish my course this year, can I continue it next year? Will I have to pay more?
As a fee-paying student you can study your chosen course for up to 12 months from the date of your enrolment. If you take more than 12 months to complete your course, you will need to pay another fee.
I applied for assistance from Work and Income. Have my course fees been paid?
Please contact us with your ID number to find out whether Work and Income has paid for your enrolment.
Are there any extra fees for students living overseas?
Overseas students pay an access fee to cover the cost of posting materials. Learning materials will not be dispatched until 21 working days after the receipt of payment of access fees.
