Work with your child to play snakes and ladders. Encourage your child to think about the numbers they are counting by asking questions such as:
- What number are you on now?
- What number will we count from this time? What number will we finish on?
- What number will you be on when you move your counter 5 squares?
- What number would you need to throw to land on the 50 square?
Encourage your child to count out loud as they move their counter.
