Science is helpful

Science makes you look for clues.

For instance, in the picture opposite, how would you make the torch bulb light up?

Science is exciting

Modern science began when a British experimenter called Michael Faraday (1791 - 1867) started finding things out for himself.

Since that time, science 'as we know it' has affected in a big way how you live and what you do every day.

Science includes everything

Science is to do with the study of the smallest things and the largest things.

The picture opposite shows a tiny paramecium cell viewed through a microscope.
