Notice to schools
Important information regarding 2010 dual tuition
If you need to register students with Te Kura during term 1 for tuition in 2010, please read the following information to help ensure your applications are processed as quickly as possible.
- Please ensure you are registering your students under the correct enrolment reason and supplying any supporting information that is required for us to process the application e.g. IEPs
- If you need advice and guidance around the correct enrolment reason, you can phone Enrolment Services on 0800 65 99 88 ext 8291, read our Information for schools page, or email enrolment@tekura.school.nz.
- Please take care to select appropriate courses and curriculum levels for your students. If you are not sure which course/level to select, please refer to our Subjects and courses pages, or our 'Choice 2010' course selection guide. If you are still unsure, please contact us and ask to speak to a senior subject teacher for the curriculum area you require for guidance.
- Please ensure you enter the correct personal details for your student i.e. names spelt correctly and in the right order, correct date of birth, and the student’s chronological year level
- You can easily check the progress of your applications by logging into our online enrolment system

- Enrolment Services have a handy hints document available for schools, if you would like a copy, please email enrolment@tekura.school.nz and one will be emailed to you
Please also note that due to tighter guidelines set by the Ministry of Education around the non-returners process, students who are withdrawn for not returning work for two months cannot be reinstated or re-enrolled in that course for the remainder of the calendar year. For more information, read the service level agreement.
In order to make sure that students continuing in courses from 2009 are not picked up in the non-returners process unnecessarily, Enrolment Services will endeavour to make sure that all students have work on hand. However, if you find that you have not require further work for your continuing students, please contact us soon as possible so that we can arrange this for you.
