Board members reappointed

Minister of Education Anne Tolley has reappointed members of TCS’s Board of Trustees whose membership terms were due to expire in September.

Board Chair Trish McKelvey, Roger Drummond and Roger Taylor have been reappointed for a two-year term, while Carol Moffatt, Nori Parata and Wayne Bainbridge (all of whom joined the Board in 2008) have been re-appointed for a three year term.  Jacky Stafford, Don Blakeney and TCS staff member John Nisbet, who joined the Board earlier this year, are each serving three year terms.

Trish acknowledged the significant contribution of Board member and Deputy Chair Dr Russell Ballard, who has been a key member of the Board since 2004 but did not seek reappointment.

‘TCS has made considerable progress as a result of his experience, expertise and wisdom,' said Trish.
